The Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NHS) Analyst will be supporting the analysis of flight vehicles and their ability to withstand nuclear effects in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The position requires some existing knowledge is this area as well as a strong interest in additional on the job learning.
Responsibilities
Perform radiation hardening analysis for component (WCCA, PBO, SGEMP, MCNP etc.)Conduct shielding effectiveness analysis for enclosuresDevelop testing and qualification plans for systemsDevelop test procedures, oversee tests and write test reportsSummarize results and design application techniques during the above activities via presentations and design analysis reports.Who We Are

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Science or related technical field5 years' experience with Nuclear Effects AnalysisDemonstrated capability/experience in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to document analysis methodology and results.Excellent communication skills are required, as position requires the description/documentation of analysis techniques and results using a variety of tools (PowerPoint, Word)Active security clearance required, eligibility for SAP clearance is requiredUp to 10% of travel may be required.This role is open in multiple locations and at multiple levels. Candidates will be hired at a level consistent with their background and experience:

Level III: $115,800 - $176,200
Level IV: $146,500 - $224,500
Hill AFB, UT
Level III: $101,000 - $153,600
Level IV: $128,200 - $196,400
