What You'll Do:

As an Employment Solicitor (NQ to Associate), you’ll be at the heart of a lively team handling a mix of contentious employment matters. Your days will be filled with:

Managing your own portfolio of cases to playing a key part in complex restructures or outsourcing projects. Representing clients before tribunals and courts while building trusted relationships through clear communication and practical advice. Working side-by-side with colleagues from pensions, immigration, tax and regulatory teams. Business development to boost your profile within the market as you help grow the team’s impressive client base. Supporting large-scale restructuring projects for multinational brands in sectors such as retail, manufacturing and logistics by providing guidance on employment status and IR35 planning.

What You Bring:

To excel as an Employment Solicitor (NQ to Associate), you will bring hands-on experience from a leading employment law practice where you have supported employers through intricate legal challenges.

The firm will consider a Trainee Solicitor who has recently completed a Seat in Employment, or an NQ to 3 PQE Solicitor at a reputable firm within the Employment Law team. You will have demonstrated skill advising on large-scale restructuring projects including reorganisations, outsourcing arrangements (including TUPE), senior exits and board-level disputes. Ideally you will have experience handling high-value Employment Tribunal litigation as well as providing strategic advice on employee relations issues such as dismissals, grievances, whistleblowing cases and redundancy processes.
