The NP/PA will provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention, caring for patients ranging in age. Position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others. **PRACTICE SPECIFICS:** + Exciting opportunity in our Dermatology Clinic with leading-edge medical equipment + Once fully trained, a wide scope of diagnoses seen including but not limited to, Acne, Eczema, Hair Loss, Lesions/Spot Checks, Psoriasis, Rashes, Skin Cancer, Warts etc. + This position will work with a collaborative team of other Advanced Practice Clinicians, Physicians and support staff members. + Typical Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm + Estimated patients per day: 14 - 15 + Estimated procedures per day: 8-10 minor procedures including but not limited to biopsies, injections, cryotherapy, excisions etc. Does not include cosmetic procedures. **QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements):** **EDUCATION:** Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing or master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program. **EXPERIENCE:** Minimum of 2 yrs or equivalent experience in Dermatology care preferred **LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:** Current licensure as a registered nurse and Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota or current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota or Physician Assistant in Minnesota Current certification in CPR or successful completion of Essentia Health BLS certification within 90 days of hire National certification, in applicable area Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
