?? Location: Milwaukee, WI – Midtown Area
?? Start Date: August 25, 2025
?? Weekly Pay: Starting at $1,400 (based on experience and licensure)
?? Contract: 36 weeks | 40 hours/week

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Social Studies Teacher to join our team at an alternative high school serving at-risk youth in Milwaukee’s Midtown area. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach engaging and standards-aligned social studies curriculum to students in grades 9–12. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to meet the diverse needs of students. Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

Wisconsin DPI License in Social Studies (required). Experience working in urban education settings (preferred). Comfortable and committed to working with at-risk youth in an alternative education environment. Willingness to obtain an Alternative Education License (only one course required – financial support provided by the school).
