Now Hiring: School-Based Behavior Technicians Los Angeles County | Daytime Hours Glendale • Burbank • Pasadena • Surrounding Areas Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavior Technicians to support students in K–12 school settings. If you enjoy helping children succeed and want predictable daytime hours, this is a great opportunity to build meaningful experience in education and behavioral support. We welcome applicants with experience working with children—even if your ABA background is limited. Training and ongoing support are provided. Position Highlights + Pay: $24–$27/hour (based on experience) + Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM + School-based only — no home cases, evenings, or weekends + Consistent placement at one school site + Weekly pay via direct deposit + Supportive, collaborative team environment Responsibilities + Provide 1:1 or small-group support to students + Help implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and IEP goals + Assist teachers with maintaining positive, structured learning environments + Encourage positive behavior and engagement + Collect simple behavior data (training provided) + Collaborate with teachers, school staff, psychologists, and BCBAs Qualifications + Experience working with children or youth (school settings, ABA, childcare, mentoring, SPED, etc.) + Comfortable in K–12 classrooms + Patient, calm, and positive when behaviors arise + Open to coaching and teamwork + Professional communication with staff and parents + High school diploma or equivalent + Ability to meet district onboarding requirements ABA experience is helpful but not required. RBT certification is a plus but not necessary.
