Experienced Behavior Technician (School-Based | Daytime Hours) Los Angeles County (Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena & Surrounding Areas) Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking experienced Behavior Technicians to support students in school-based settings across Los Angeles County. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong ABA or behavioral intervention background who want stable hours, consistent placement, and meaningful impact—without evenings or weekends. Why This Role Stands Out • $24–$27/hour (based on relevant experience) • Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–2:00 PM • School-based only (no home cases) • Consistent schedule and location • Weekly pay via direct deposit What You’ll Be Doing • Provide 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and IEP-driven goals • Support students in general and special education classrooms • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, BCBAs, and SPED teams • Collect behavior data and reinforce positive behaviors • Help create structured, inclusive learning environments This Role Is Best For Candidates Who Have: • 2+ years of experience in ABA therapy, school-based behavioral support, or special education intervention • Comfort working in school environments (K–12 preferred) • Strong behavior management and de-escalation skills • Clear, professional communication skills • RBT certification preferred (not required) • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to meet district onboarding requirements This is not an entry-level or training-only position. Prior behavioral intervention experience is required.
