**Job Title: EVS Technician** **Job Description** As an EVS Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that non-occupied patient rooms are meticulously cleaned and sanitized. Each room requires deep cleaning, taking approximately 20-30 minutes. You will also make beds, flip mattresses, and thoroughly disinfect the entire room. Part of your duties includes managing linens, which involves placing them into large, heavy bags and depositing them down the chute. You will also clean isolation rooms, adhering to strict safety protocols, using a string mop for thorough cleaning. **Responsibilities** + Perform deep cleaning of non-occupied patient rooms, including bed-making and mattress flipping. + Thoroughly clean and disinfect entire rooms, managing linens by placing them in heavy bags for disposal. + Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures, including mopping and disinfecting. + Handle bloody and dirty trash as well as soiled linens as part of cleaning duties. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs frequently and push 200 lbs. + Strong attendance record and punctuality. + Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, nurses, doctors, and the housekeeping team. + Customer service skills to effectively work with difficult individuals. + 6 months of previous experience in hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Direct experience in hospitals is preferred. + A self-starter mentality for working independently. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive hospital environment that values strong work ethics and reliability.
