The NA Transportation Analyst plays a key role by analyzing internal and external transportation data, identifying inefficiencies, and developing strategies to improve transportation systems' efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. They will function as a hands-on individual who will drive transportation analytics excellence within the PA&A vertical at BRP. This position requires a highly analytical and result oriented individual with a deep understanding of the supply chain who fully utilizes both technical skills, data and teamwork to help achieve the departmental goals and objectives.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs using Power BI, SQL, and Excel to track project and operational performance
Providing insights into transportation spend, network inventory and footprint and help to refine the supply plan based on current and future demand
Collaborating with the Team Lead to ensure data accuracy in internal and external systems
Prepare, create and maintain regular reports and KPIs based on the business needs and demands
Conducting baseline analysis on inventory data (e.g., slow-moving, bulk orders, or excess inventory) and logistics costs, highlighting risks and variances relative to revenue targets and freight budget
Ensuring inventory levels are aligned with forecasted demand to optimize the supply chain and avoid excessive inventory or shortages (cross ships)
Identifying and recommending process improvements in inventory and logistics, such as optimizing reorder points, improving stock rotation, or enhancing freight routes.
Working with the Team Lead to implement approved improvements, monitoring their impact on inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and supplier reliability.
Tracking the outcomes of improvement initiatives, providing feedback and data-driven insights to refine ongoing strategies.
Contribute to strategic supply chain projects that aim to improve efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness.
Identify data-driven insights and improvement opportunities to support decision-making and continuous improvement
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a business analyst, financial analyst or supply chain analyst, preferably in a transformation or project-based setting (distribution, replenishment, transport, etc).
Proven experience working on large-scale supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, Demand Planning) and cross-functional initiatives.
Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and integration points (distribution, replenishment, transport, etc).
Proficiency in business process documentation and tools (e.g., Visio).
Strong data analysis skills (Power BI, SQL, Excel) to support insights and reporting.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking capabilities.
Effective communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, transformation-driven environment always searching for innovative ideas to increase the top-line (passionate about growth as much as optimizing the costs)
Confident in presenting to leadership and aligning diverse perspectives.
Organized and analytical, focused on process improvement and maximizing systems capabilities;
