Position Summary

In this role you will be part of the Specialty Business Unit, which provides unique cable solutions for specialized markets, and you will report to the Commercial Operations Director for the Specialties BU.

This position is responsible for managing sales contracts, including rebates and commissions, for the North American specialty market, as well as working closely with the Commercial Operations Director on business analysis of the commercial processes, financial reports, market trends, and production data.

You will engage with various cross-functional teams throughout the organization and could interact consistently with the management team preparing and sharing key business metrics.

Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

Analyze business processes, financial reports, market trends, and production data to identify areas for operational improvement and cost optimization.

Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics across departments (sales, procurement, production).

Prepare data-driven recommendations and business cases for strategic initiatives.

Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategies.

Provide cross-functional teams with analytical insights to optimize supply chain efficiency, inventory management, and customer order fulfillment.


Contracts Management:

Support the VP of Sales in evaluating Sales Agent contracts and work with the Commercial Director on customer agreements to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Manage sales commission data within the system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of commissions and rebates.

Maintain a centralized contract repository with key dates, obligations, and renewal timelines.

Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure contractual terms meet industry regulations and mitigate business risks.

Oversee contract performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms and timely delivery of all contractual obligations.

Lead resolution of contract disputes or amendments.

Knowledge and skill requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in business analysis, contracts management, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel (Power BI, ERP systems are a plus)

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
