KBR is looking for a Regional Sales Director, Technology to provide leadership in the planning, organization, management, and the continuous improvement of the business development and strategic development process.

The Regional Sales Director, Technology is responsible for:

Developing, implementing, and achieving the annual and quarterly Technology business sales plans and associated sales budgets for the designated region.Working closely with members of the Technology Business leadership team in the development of strategic growth plans for the sale of Technology licenses and associated services and equipment in the region.Developing and maintain close alignment with other regional sales management or sales groups from other KBR businesses and affiliates. Ensuring compliance with KBR code of business conduct (COBC).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Regional Technology Sales Quota: Is responsible to achieve the Regional Technology Sales Quota as established at the beginning of the year with the SVP – Technology Sales.Regional Sales Strategy, Sales Planning: With input from the Technology leadership team and other KBR regional sales groups leads the development of 3-Year sales growth strategy and associated yearly and quarterly sales plans including sales objectives by technology area and by sub- region. Works under direction from SVP - Technology Sales in planning, allocating and hiring where necessary Technology resources across the sales region. Leads and develops local sales team.Sales Staffing: Works under direction from SVP - Technology Sales in planning, allocating and hiring where necessary other Technology sales resources across the region.Customer Management: Responsible for developing and implementing regional account management and, where appropriate, strategic account management programs for technology clients ensuring that these programs are fully aligned with existing KBR programs and standards.   Sales Process and Productivity: Complies with KBR’s sales management process and systems for Technology sales. Ensures compliance with KBR’s CRM and forecasting systems and works with KBR regional sales management to determine improvements if any needed for technology related sales.    Sales Operations, Proposal and Performance Management: Responsible for regional sales operations including sales forecasting, sales pipeline management, and technology proposal management.  Responsible for developing yearly regional strategic business development plan including regional competitor analysis and regional customer analytics to support the Technology Division’s growth initiatives.Alignment with other KBR Corporate sales leadership: Participates with all KBR sales leadership in developing and maintaining consistencies across sales, with respect to customer interaction and KBR internal systems, processes, and tools. Maintains at all time behaviors from technology sales which aligns with overall KBR goals and objectives.     Compliance: Maintains full compliance with KBR code of business conduct. Maintains a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations and corporate safety guidelines.  Proactively directs continuous improvement efforts in the areas of risk reduction and the elimination of potential hazards. Measurement and Rewards: Responsible for quarterly technology sales quotas and other strategic objectives as established by SVP - Technology SalesPrimary Responsibilities: Managing bid and proposal activity, proposal prioritization and metrics, opportunity screening, sales forecasting, sales management and leadership, strategic account management, and management of regional sales activities and resources.Personal Characteristics: Leadership skills (Lead, motivate, manage, communicate, coach, and listen), strong facilitator and negotiator, display integrity and open attitude, communication, and social skills at Senior Executive level, flexible, and innovative. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven sales performer with experience selling technology and/or engineering services to senior management levels in Regional Accounts. Proven sales leadership experience – strong ability to influence people by building trust and credibility. 5-7 years previous sales management experience.Experience in selling into the Upstream and Downstream Hydrocarbon Processing Industries or Fertilizer.  5 – 10 years experience in plant operations and/or equivalent sales experience in the hydrocarbon processing or fertilizer industries.  Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the hydrocarbon processing and/or fertilizer industry.Experience selling Process Technology or related technical offerings where purchase decision is made at senior management levels.  B.Sc. in chemical engineering or related technical discipline, MBA preferred.

Key Relationships:

Identifies, creates, and manages key business relationships with senior management in client organizations and with KBR leadership in Technology and other business units

Special Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to 50%.
