You will influence commercial strategy, shape market expansion initiatives, and collaborate across product, marketing, and technical organizations to deliver innovative, customer‑focused solutions that advance Emerson’s presence in the Life Sciences sector. **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Leading the development and execution of regional strategies that expand Emerson’s Life Sciences business, aligning solutions to evolving market needs. + Partnering with Global MSOL and PSS Life Sciences leadership to align strategy, amplify Emerson’s competitive advantages, and drive sustained double‑digit growth across the North America Life Sciences business. + Building and sustaining strong customer relationships with key corporate accounts at the Director and VP level, serving as a trusted advisor and champion for customer success. + Creating and overseeing a comprehensive coverage model to grow new and existing Life Sciences market segments across North America. + Setting regional growth objectives, identifying new business opportunities, and driving demand‑generation initiatives that expand market penetration while owning revenue, margin, and overall growth targets to ensure commercial strategies deliver measurable financial outcomes. + Leading a team of sales professionals by providing clear direction, coaching, and development to foster a culture of performance and collaboration. + Partnering with marketing and product management teams to align messaging, drive commercial campaigns, and deliver compelling value propositions. + Representing Emerson at major industry events, conferences, and forums, elevating the company’s presence and strengthening external partnerships. + Conducting deep customer discovery, developing tailored solutions, and preparing executive‑level presentations that influence strategic decisions. **Who You Are:** You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations and are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You formulate a clear strategy and map aggressive steps that will accelerate the organization toward its goals. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field + Minimum of ten (10) years of experience, including at least six (6) years in sales or marketing + Experience leading commercial or technical teams in complex, customer‑focused environments + Background in Life Sciences or experience selling into Life Sciences markets + Ability to manage regional responsibilities and travel up to 50% across North America + Strong skills in developing strategic plans, building customer relationships, and influencing internal and external stakeholders + Legal authorization to work in the United States **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + MBA preferred + Demonstrated success in sales leadership, business development, or commercial strategy roles within Life Sciences or adjacent industries + Experience coaching and developing diverse teams to achieve shared goals + Strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and strategic planning capability + Ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into actionable growth strategies + Proficiency with CRM systems and sales‑enablement tools + Residence in the Northeastern United States preferred (other preferred locations include Austin, TX; Chanhassen, MN; Charlotte, NC; or Boulder, CO) **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The total target comp range **(base + sales bonus)** for this position is **$250,000-$280,000 annually** , commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
