With a 40% market share over the past 20 years, Dextra is the uncontested leader in supplying mechanical splices for Nuclear Power Plants across the Globe.
As the North American market is entering a new phase of developing, designing and building nuclear facilities (both large NPP and SMRs), Dextra is looking for its Regional Nuclear Market leader to understand the whole landscape of upcoming nuclear projects in the USA and Canada, influence codes, standards and design specifications to include Dextra’s value proposition and ultimately replicate the success Dextra has in supplying the nuclear industry elsewhere by generating sales of our products.
As the face of Dextra’s nuclear and energy business in North America, this role combines strategic business development, presales engagement, and industry influence to drive adoption of Dextra’s technologies across the growing U.S. and Canadian nuclear infrastructure sectors.
2. Technical Standards and SpecificationsKnow and understand the current status of all the design standards and codes for the design of nuclear facilities in North AmericaCoordinate with the QHSE Manager, the Engineering Manager, the Europe Key Account Presales Manager and our local consultant on FRP products to influence the standards to benefit Dextra’s productsRecommend Dextra’s products to relevant nuclear structural design engineers to influence projects’ specificationsGet feedback on potential improvements and new product developments to make sure that our products are adapted to the Market
3. SalesGet RFPs from clients for all nuclear projects where Dextra’s value proposition can be soldPrepare technical and sales proposals for these projectsFollow up and maximize strike rate on these projects, focusing on the high value high margin ones
4. Forecasting and Budgeting* Lead our periodic medium- and long-term sales forecasts and business plans for the nuclear market segment in North America

RequirementsA bachelor's degree or above in civil engineering.At least 5 years of experience in structural engineering.Experience in a Business development role is a plusPrior exposure to nuclear codes and/or participation in nuclear or oil & gas infrastructure projectsLanguage skills: Full proficiency in English required, Secondary language a plusITS skills: Microsoft Office, CRM systemsOther technical skills: In-depth knowledge of the nuclear industry, Knowledge of the current nuclear design codes for North AmericaOther skills: Work location: remote/home-based in the U.S. or CanadaTravel: 30% or more for site visits, trade shows, key meetingsAbility to work autonomously.Go getter – able to setup own goals and deadlines and always wanting more

Market Intelligence and Business DevelopmentMap out all the upcoming nuclear projects in North America and their actual timelinesMap out the rebar industry in North AmericaKeep watch on our competitors, their strength and weaknesses, strategies and developmentsUnderstand who are the key players at owner, design and construction levelsEstablish, penetrate and maintain a list of key accounts in the industryPlan and participate to all related trade shows and relevant industry eventsMake sure that all relevant parties and key accounts know about and understand Dextra’s value propositionCoordinate with the Marketing Dept at Headquarters to publish news aimed at developing Dextra’s corporate image2.
