Non-Profit Customer Care Representative
Description Join a San Diego-based non-profit organization as a Customer Care Representative and play a vital role in supporting our mission-driven work. In this role, you’ll provide outstanding service to donors, clients, and partners while ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy. After six months of on-site training and collaboration, you’ll have the option to transition to a hybrid schedule for added flexibility. Key Responsibilities + Serve as the main point of contact for inquiries from donors, volunteers, clients, and partners, ensuring prompt and accurate responses. + Handle inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries with care, professionalism, and enthusiasm. + Provide guidance and support to individuals seeking assistance with services or programs offered by the non-profit. + Manage donor records; process contributions, pledges, and acknowledgments accurately using CRM systems. + Collaborate with various teams to address client needs and ensure community members are connected with appropriate resources. + Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and propose solutions to enhance service quality. + Assist in outreach initiatives, including educational campaigns and fundraising efforts as needed. Requirements + Strong dedication to customer care and supporting mission-driven work. + Previous experience in customer service, call center, or client-facing support roles is preferred. + Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional yet empathetic approach. + Ability to remain organized, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of or experience with non-profit organizations or mission-driven work is a plus.
