We look for a new General Manager with solid Economic backtroun for aat Reputable Waste & Recycling Company in Romania.

This is a good and almost unique chance for an Economic Manager to evolve to General Manager role. 

This GM will handle all the NON  - Operational Division in the group meaning, finance/economic sector, tenders department, marketing, admin etc.

There already exists another Operational GM that currently handles the production divisions (production, technical, quality etc) and including the majority of the Employees.

Both leaders are equally reporting to the existing board manager of a huge group that Employs more than 1000 people and has a recent JV with a central Europe reputable energy & waste management group. 

Work expossure in a big company together with previous public tender experience of huge contracts, deep financial skills, great business vision and a strategic mind – all are eliminatory selection criteria for this role!

 

Our GM will therefore be responsible for :

providing overall leadership, strategic direction, and economic strategies  for the company   successfully represents the group in public tenders and able to supervise the legal compliance team build up and implement credible strategies with the top management able to lead teams and to continuously upgrade able to improve company image and to  improve the national and international expanssion.  other:  building and maintaining strong relationships with international and local clients, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving profitability through effective business development and sound financial management. The role requires strong business acumensolid financial background, commercial mind, abilities to influence stakeholders, etc a deep knowledge of waste management would clearly  help  to expand the company's market presence locally and globally. highly resilient and analitical profile. economic university with some advanced post-grad finance management certification would be a susbtantial plus for this role.

We would prioritize Romanian candidates who are experienced as CFO / FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION Directors and with some strong public tenders exposure and valid commercial and marketing understanding. Yes, ideally coming with some industrial background.
