This individual will perform non-destructive tests (NDT) on materials, manufactured items, or components. Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques including radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser stereography, and magnetic particle** **How You’ll Make an Impact** + **Technical Skills: Ability to perform critical dimensional measurements, document findings, and meet NDE specifications using standard and special gauging** + **Quality Management: Validate NDE paperwork in Operation Information Landscape (OIL), upload reports to SAP, and** **build** **Quality Notifications as needed** + **Training and** **Teamwork** **:** **Willingness** **to** **train** **QA Technicians, review procedures for compliance, and collaborate with engineers on new NDE technologies** + **Shift** **Flexibility** **: Position supports 2nd shift (4x10 Night) with** **flexibility** **for** **overtime** **and weekend work; must adapt to various turbine service tasks as required** **What You Bring** + **High** **School** **Diploma** **or** **equivalent** **years of work experience with the required certifications** + **Must have completed or willingness to complete Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status or higher required by Siemens** **Energy** + **Must be a level II certified in ET, RT, VT, PT and MT.
