NON - CDL Paratransit Driver

Transdev on Hardeson is Hiring! 
Drivers Needed! CDL NOT Required!

You will provide transportation to the disabled community, ensuring they get where they need to go safely. Paratransit Drivers provide passengers with safe, reliable transportation and excellent customer service.   

What we offer:

PAY RANGE: $22.51 – $25.58 Subject to Union contract  - hourly non-exempt

VACATION: up to 14 days

PSL: Accrual FT 8 hrs monthly/ PT 5hrs monthly per CBA.

Other benefits: Eligible for Medical, Dental & Vision after 90 calendar days of employment for FT employees.

Life Insurance, 401k, and company holidays.  

Subject to union contract

 

What you will be doing:

- Provide door-to-door transportation for passengers safely and efficiently
- Ensure passengers are properly secured and provide assistance with all entries and exits
- Greet passengers, accept fare payment and maintain a safe environment
- Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
- Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Other duties as required
 

Who you are:   

21 years or olderMinimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional)Excellent communication & customer service skills.Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
