• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar) and React.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints, integrate with databases and third-party services.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and performant React components.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and maintain test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and pair programming.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize for scale and reliability.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deploy to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Document APIs, system design, and operational runbooks.
Technical skillset
• Strong experience with:
o Node.js (ES6+), server frameworks like Express, Koa, or NestJS
o React (hooks, functional components) and modern front-end tooling
• Proficiency with at least one relational PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with TypeScript (preferred) or strong JavaScript fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, HTTP, and WebSockets (if applicable).
• Experience with source control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
• Understanding of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright).
• Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
