We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team, supporting a suite of internal systems critical to the performance and reliability of our enterprise insurance platform. This role focuses on building robust backend tools that enable operations teams to triage issues, perform impact analysis, monitor system health, and remediate policy/order-related failures efficiently. This position is ideal for engineers who are passionate about enabling operational excellence through smart automation, data-driven insights, and scalable internal platforms. Your contributions will directly enhance service reliability, reduce downtime, and improve customer trust in our insurance services.

Key Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining backend tools and services that support operations workflows, including issue triage, order/policy remediation, and RCA automation.Building internal dashboards, monitoring frameworks, and alerting systems to provide visibility into operational health and KPIs.Leveraging AWS services (such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, etc.) to build tools and automation that enhance system monitoring, visibility, and operational effectiveness.Participating in on-call rotations and incident reviews, helping to improve system reliability and operational response.Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Support, Product, and Engineering to understand business pain points, provide feedback, and help drive improvements across the product and operational workflows.

Required Qualifications

Possess current experience in software application development using Node.js. Please do not apply without extensive Node.Js skillsPossess current Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)Possess an understanding microservices, APIs, and backend architecture principles to design and develop effective internal tools and operational workflows.Ability to demonstrate Familiarity with software development best practices: testing, version control, CI/CD.Possess extensive problem-solving skills with a focus on production reliability and operational effectiveness.
