Responsible for assisting with selector onboarding, safety, and compliance programs at the operating company (OpCo) level. Ensures staffing levels are managed and maintained to best serve the company's needs. Makes sure selectors comply with OpCo regulations and coordinates tracking of all relevant information about selectors. Acts as a team member within the department and organization as needed and performs any assigned duties to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:Responsible for improving all key metrics, including lost days from work, severity/frequency, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) recordable incidents, safety audit scores, safety training, and other related areas of measure.Ensures selectors fulfill duties safely through training and by monitoring pre-shift stretching, pre-use PMHE inspections, safe operation of PMHE, safety lifting techniques, and ergonomics.Monitors safety programs and implements changes necessary to ensure the health and safety of our associates. Ensure all night shift associates complete new hire and quarterly safety training in UKG.Responsible for developing, implementing, and/or administering fleet safety and occupational health and safety programs to ensure applicable legal compliance. Creates and maintains a safe and secure working environment.May assist or handle incidents, injuries, or accidents with drivers that occur on the night shift.Entering WC/AL claims into the reporting system as neededPerforms other related duties as assigned.3rd shift position
