Job Details

This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.

Job Purpose:  

To support the Transport department by carrying out various duties and re-picks of stock at dispatch.

                                                                                 

Location: Croydon Site CR9 0DB            

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours per week: 40 typically 0030 - 0830

Salary: £12.76 per hour + Night Premium

Responsibilities:

General good housekeeping

Night trunk receive goods and porter to relevant locations

assist transport team in repick of missing stock at dispatch to help reduce missing parcels

Deconstruction of cages and removal to home after drivers depart

Complete required daily reports

Stacking and care of totes

Various duties as required by Team leader

Keeping outside areas clear of rubbish and in good condition

Completing any morning R-Docs to repick stock

Preparing afternoon link route work

Maintain fridge blocks to full in freezers

To carry out any reasonable request as determined by the transport team.

Support other sections of Transport and drivers when required

What we are looking for:

Essential:

Good Visual Accuracy.

Good verbal communication skills.

Basic written communication skills.

Basic Numeracy and Literacy.

Customer care.

Desirable:

Any previous experience of working in a similar administration environment would be highly desirable.

Level of Decision Making:

The porter will be required to work un-supervised at times
