**Overview** We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to lead our custodial team. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Staff & Management (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Staff\_&\_Management\_No%20Date%209.5.24.pdf) **Key Responsibilities:** + Supervise daily operations of janitorial staff to ensure all cleaning duties are completed effectively and efficiently + Oversee and coordinate nightly service requests, ensuring all work orders and special tasks are completed and documented properly + Process and submit janitorial staff payroll accurately and on time, including reviewing timesheets and attendance + Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility + Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols + Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place timely orders to avoid shortages + Conduct routine inspections to ensure all areas meet cleanliness and safety standards + Respond promptly to maintenance or cleaning issues and ensure timely resolution + Maintain open communication with facility managers and provide regular updates on operations + Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety standards as well as company policies + Promote a positive, professional, and respectful work environment among janitorial staff + Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive coaching and feedback + Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new janitorial staff + Collaborate with other departments for special project coordination and event setup/cleanup + Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, supply usage, payroll, attendance, and nightly service request logs + Continually assess and improve cleaning procedures for increased efficiency and quality + Lead by example with a strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to service excellence **Qualifications:** + Prior experience in janitorial supervision or team leadership in a custodial/facilities setting + Proficient in floor care techniques, including terrazzo, ESD flooring, and other specialty surfaces + Understanding of payroll processes and timekeeping systems + Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities + Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets (SDS) + Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices + Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required + Flexible availability, including evening and weekend shifts as needed REQNUMBER: 125230 ABM is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer qualified applicants without regard race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran or any other protected factor under federal, state, or local law.
