Job Responsibilities:

Induct, load, and unload piece parts.Maintain and add prescribed chemistry as required.Clean electrical contacts as required.Perform chemical dumps.Maintain tank levels and temperatures as required.Record daily pressure readings for hoods and scrubber mesh pads per EPA directives.Setup, use, and ensure proper calibration of precision measuring equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.Read/interpret blueprints to ensure quality products.Perform all maintenance on conveyor system: filter system, pumping system, hydraulic system, and tanks.Maintain spare parts and tooling inventory.Ensure proper makeup of tank chemistry.Adjust recipes to salvage undersized materials.

 

Basic Qualifications:

Must have 1 year of manufacturing experienceMust be able to read blueprints

 

Additional information:

Pay - $19.55/hour (plus $1.00/hour night shift premium)Night Shift: M-TH, 8 pm - 6 amWork location - Sumter, SC (Sumter Pins Facility)

Summary Pay Range:

$19.55 - $25.35

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
