BASIC PURPOSEOperate an industrial forklift to perform material handling assignments. Identify and transport material to and from storage areas and loading dock. Operate forklift/high-lift in order to lower stock to ground level pick-level slots from higher level reserve slots during night shift & day shift, and to put received stock in higher level storage slots during the day shift using safe operating practices.

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 5:00 PM until complete (may include holidays and overtime)
Compensation:
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is $23.12 per hour.

Job Overview:
We’re seeking dependable and safety-focused Reach Truck Operators to join the US Foods team. You will be responsible for operating a reach truck/high lift to safely move materials to and from storage areas and the loading dock, supporting the night shift selection process.
Main Ingredients (Job Duties):
Transport pallet loads from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment
Replenish pick slots from reserve stock to support night selection
Operate and maintain reach trucks to ensure cleanliness and operational quality
Perform equipment safety checks (battery, brakes, controls, fire extinguisher)
Record product movements, equipment use, and any warehouse damage
Conduct end-of-shift wipe-downs for all equipment
Keep work areas clear by removing debris from racks and floors
Follow all safety policies and practices
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications):
Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: Prior reach truck or warehouse equipment operation preferred; Selector experience a plus
Skills: Basic math and reading skills; ability to follow instructions and use systems like Voxware
