Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Night Porter to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Porter, you will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out.

What will you do?Assist in the employee housing area with cleaning and laundry dutiesCarry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled cartsDisinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizersEmpty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and distribute all recyclables into proper containersReport damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors

Minimum of 6 months of experience in housekeeping preferred

No experience or diploma required

Physical requirementsAbility to lift to 50 poundsAbility to pull heavy carts of stock Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform other ranges of motion for an extended time
