Deliver spotless, safe, and guest-ready public spaces by performing overnight deep cleaning, floor care, and detail projects across the resort. Ensure Hilton brand standards are met while supporting Security, Engineering, and Housekeeping in preparing the resort for the next day.
What will I be doing?
As an Overnight Public Area Attendant, you focus on deep cleaning and reset tasks during overnight hours. You perform floor care projects, sanitize high-traffic areas, and stage public spaces so the resort is ready for guests each morning. You work independently and with other departments to ensure safety, security, and quality throughout the shift.
Overnight Operations & Deep Cleaning
· Complete scheduled projects: carpet extraction/spotting, hard floor scrubbing/burnishing, grout/detailing, gum removal, metal polishing, glass/wall washing, high dusting.
· Pressure wash assigned exterior areas (front drive, walkways, loading dock) following water-use and noise guidelines.
· Reset lobby, entrances, signage, and furniture layouts; stage supplies and amenities for morning use.
· Perform overnight deep sanitization of public restrooms, including fixtures and surfaces.
Safety & Security
· Follow lock-out/tag-out and after-hours access protocols; maintain accurate key control.
· Execute biohazard clean-ups per Hilton protocol; complete incident and hazard reports.
· Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemical dilution systems, and ensure proper ventilation and safety signage during tasks.
Equipment & Inventory
· Safely operate and maintain scrubbers, extractors, buffers, backpack vacuums, and pressure washers.
· Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and report defects or malfunctions.
· Replenish paper products, soaps, and amenities; ensure closets are stocked, organized, and secured.
Collaboration
· Partner with Security to access restricted areas and ensure overnight safety.
· Communicate completed tasks, open items, and concerns to the morning Supervisor or Manager.
