What will I be doing?
As Night Auditor, you will maintain the professional financial standards of the hotel by managing end-of-day reports, ensuring accuracy, and reporting anomalies. A Night Auditor must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensure the maintenance of professional financial standards throughout the hotelUndertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reportsEdit all reports to ensure accuracy and full completionInvestigate any anomalies found between daily reports and takingsAssist the Night Manager in emergency situationsAchieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as requiredDemonstrate a high level of customer service at all timesAttend appropriate training courses, when required, and assist with the Night Team's training and development effortsDemonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily dutiesMaximize room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilitiesUse the correct procedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards and cash in accordance with the hotel credit policyAct in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systemsFollow company brand standardsAssist other departments, as necessaryWhat are we looking for?

At least 2 years of previous experience working in a hotel Finance Department or Front OfficePortuguese and English are requiredPride in ensuring the accuracy of work and encourages Team Members to do the same
Strong analytical skillsComputer literate, with particularly strong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelUnderstanding of the responsibilities of other areas within the Finance Department and FrontOfficeAbility to work on your own and as part of a team
