Position SummaryThe Part-Time Night Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the hotel. This position is responsible for front desk guest services during overnight hours while completing daily audit procedures accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and confident working independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
⚠️ This is a part-time overnight position, typically scheduled for two (2) overnight shifts per week. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required, and some weeks may require availability for additional shifts based on operational needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional guest service at all times, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience during overnight hoursPerform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficientlyComplete all nightly audit functions, including balancing daily transactions and closing the business day in accordance with Hilton brand standardsReconcile room charges, payments, and revenue reports with a high level of accuracyProcess payments, handle cash, credit cards, and foreign currency in compliance with hotel credit and cash-handling policiesMaintain thorough knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and on-property servicesRespond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries, concerns, and requests, resolving issues independently when possibleCommunicate relevant guest feedback, incidents, or operational concerns to management and other departments as requiredMonitor hotel security during overnight hours, following all safety, fire, and emergency proceduresUse property management systems (e.g., OnQ) and front office systems accurately and confidentlySupport other departments during overnight operations as neededAdhere to all Hilton brand standards, policies, and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by managementWhat We Are Looking ForPrevious experience in hospitality, front desk, or a customer-focused service environment preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with financial and audit-related tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently during overnight hours while remaining proactive and accountableStrong organizational and time-management skillsProfessional appearance and grooming standards aligned with Hilton brand expectationsBasic to intermediate computer proficiencyFlexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
