Check out this video for more information on our great company! Location Description The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat. Overview The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the overnight front desk operations, ensuring the accuracy of hotel accounting and financial reporting, and providing exceptional guest service. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities: Perform nightly audit of hotel revenues and ensure daily financial transactions are accurately recorded. Balance and reconcile all front office postings and accounts. Prepare daily reports for management, including occupancy, revenue, and audit summaries. Process end-of-day procedures including system rollovers, backup reports, and database maintenance. Provide front desk support during overnight hours: check-in/check-out, answering phones, handling guest requests and complaints. Ensure security of the hotel premises during night hours, including monitoring cameras and securing entrances/exits as required. Follow all company and safety policies and procedures. Report any suspicious activity, incidents, or maintenance issues to management. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in accounting or hospitality is a plus. Previous front desk or night audit experience preferred. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS); Opera, OnQ, or similar is a plus. Strong math and analytical skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the night shift. Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Standing for extended periods. Occasional lifting of items up to 25 lbs (luggage, supplies, etc.). Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $22.00/Hr. - $24.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
