The Lead Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) for The Clinical next Generation Sequencing Division is a role within the sales organization of the CSD, part of the Genetics Sciences Group. This role will actively manage funnel opportunities for near-term revenue gains and develop new opportunities to build a strong a pipeline for future growth, while maintaining current business relationships and organic growth demands and sales target. This individual will apply their product knowledge and ability to position high impact/revenue solutions for customers, in addition to current territory responsibilities while also managing and developing the team of Technical Sales Specialists. This role is required to lead and represent Latin America amid global discussions and mechanisms, including forecast, business reviews, strategy and others. Regionally, it will be required to influence the sales force, including distributors to focus on NGS solutions. The selected candidate is also expected to create and sustain strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain close relationship with KOLs Help to build funnel pipeline and lead forecast calls – analyze sales results and market trends to help Sales team to build their funnelSupport Planners and align demand with key customers to build local stockWork with regional and global leaders and also marketing teams to promote and develop key product linesAbility to have high level technical discussions regarding the customers challenges and collaborate with them to develop new/innovative solutions. Applies intelligence-based prospecting to identify new potential opportunities. understand the market, key competitors, market share and trendsCollaborates with and influences TSSs within their district to develop and lead account growth strategies.Competencies and requirements
