**LCAT:** Mission Command Systems Engineer (MCS EN) **Location:** Boise, Idaho – Gowen Field **Clearance Required:** Active SECRET Clearance **Position Type:** Exempt **Overview** Stillwater is seeking a Mission Command System Engineer (MCS EN) to provide technical expertise in system design, testing, and support for Army mission command systems at Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho. The ideal candidate will bring advanced problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of hardware/software integration, and the ability to lead technical teams while supporting critical training and operational requirements. **Responsibilities** + Resolve complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations. + Conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity to ensure systems meet mission needs. + Factor emerging technologies and product supportability into design and implementation. + Provide input for technical documentation, including user manuals, system documentation, and training materials. + Advise hardware engineers on machine characteristics affecting software systems (e.g., storage capacity, processing speed, I/O requirements). + Prepare and present reports on analyses, findings, and project progress to management and/or customer personnel. + Serve as a customer interface to resolve technical issues and ensure requirements are met on time. + Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced software developers; may assume supervisory responsibilities. + Serve as a technical team or task leader on assigned projects. + Participate in special projects and mission-focused initiatives as required. **Qualifications** + **Required:** CompTIA Security+ certification. + Strong technical knowledge of mission command systems, hardware/software integration, and emerging technologies. + Demonstrated leadership ability with experience guiding teams and mentoring junior staff. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. **Education & Certifications** + **Required:** High school diploma or equivalent. + **Preferred:** Associate’s degree (AA/AS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. + **Required:** Security+ certification. **Additional Requirements** + Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance. + U.S. Citizenship is required due to security clearance eligibility. + **Travel may be required** in support of training, testing, or mission requirements. **Position Tracking Information** + MCTSP Req Number: SVR-NG5-37 **Stillwater is an Equal Opportunity Employer** All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability age veteran status or any other protected class.
