NFI Accounts Receivable Clerk-ACE Division

SUMMARY

To properly record the transactions generated at store level that are related to customer accounts receivable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates and maintains customer in-house charge accounts in Eagle as approved by DirectorsAssists customers in signing up for iNet customer PortalProcesses payments on accountProcesses Customer statements at the first of each monthProvides Accounts Receivable Aging Reports to accounting, monthlyAssists Directors to resolve past due accounts by researching or providing copies of invoices or other information as requestedWorks with Ace Operations team to identify accounts that will be sent to collections. Compile needed documentation and submit to collections.Processes credit card payments monthly for customers as neededHandles customer questions and concerns, by email and phoneProcesses Weekly Mail from StoresEAGLE – Epicor SystemSupports and maintains consistency in existing procedures and policies regarding accounts receivable and office best practices.Orders printed statement forms from ACE and envelopes from EpicorFiling, Recycling, Copying, Scanning, and Shredding as neededWorks within company programs, policies and proceduresFollows all safety policies and procedures; is a safety role modelOther duties as assigned

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED);Or related experience and/or training;Or equivalent combination of education and experience;Proficiency with Office suite of products and familiarity with office equipment

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.Ability to write correspondence and communicate appropriately with others.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, vendors, and other associates of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
