The Communication and Publishing Department (CPD) is seeking a Sacred Materials Language Coordinator based at the Pacific Area Office in Takapuna, Auckland. This is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the Area Translation Manager and will be part of a global team.  The SM Language Coordinator role is responsible for supporting and developing a diverse team of external translators across multiple languages, while collaborating closely with an international group of SM Coordinators.  This primary focus will be managing hymnbook projects and provide support to sacred materials initiatives within the Area, with the possibility of contributing to temple and scripture projects in the future, both within the Area and globally as needed.

The role focuses on aligning internal and external resources to achieve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the global delivery of sacred materials. It involves project management responsibilities, including the use of translation tools and technologies to coordinate tasks and timelines. Additionally, the role supports both headquarters and Area Language Supervisors in strengthening team capabilities and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
