Develop, drive and industrialize new fleet repair technology for the services networkDevelop and industrialize new HGP repair process technology to be implemented in repair strategyLead projects to directly impact productivity and fulfillment effortsWork with RDC and service center engineers to perform repair process technology jugular testing in the RDC or in the shopEstablish and maintain inspection criteria for advanced gas turbine componentsSubstantiation of service centers repair process qualifications/certificationsInterface with Materials and Design engineering and lead design reviews for repair developmentDrive a culture of one Gas Power team by partnering with adjacent organizations/stakeholdersDeliver operational commitments and key process indicator targetsImprove quality, delivery, and cost of GE Vernova products within team’s scopeImplement lean methodologies including standard work, standard product, and kaizenTravel to repair centers, customer sites, and other locations as needed globally (~10%)This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))due to access to export-controlled technology. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering field of study from an accredited college or universityDesired Characteristics
Master’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 2 years of experience working in, with, and/or supporting a manufacturing, Services, repair, or design environmentLean training or equivalent quality trainingStrong mechanical design and analytical backgroundAbility and established track record to drive projects to completionStrong interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customersPay Transparency:
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $79,400.00 - 119,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 5% annual performance incentive.
