New Product Development Engineering Manager
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + **Lead a High-Performance Team:** Guide and mentor a dedicated engineering team. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. + **Drive Product Innovation:** Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You’ll manage multiple complex projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, and global engineering. + **Hands-On Technical Expertise:** Stay actively involved in the technical details of new product design and development. Your deep, hands-on knowledge will be critical for overcoming technical challenges, providing guidance, and ensuring the team's designs meet stringent performance and quality standards. + **Strategic Planning:** Partner with marketing and business leaders to develop and execute technology roadmaps. You’ll identify new market opportunities and ensure our product portfolio remains at the forefront of the industry. + **Project & Process Management:** Ensure all NPD projects follow our standard gate model and agile methodologies. You will manage project risks, monitor progress, and report on key metrics to stakeholders. + **Customer & Market Focus:** Champion customer value throughout the development process, ensuring our products address real-world needs and deliver a superior user experience. **Education** + A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field) is required. **Experience** + A seasoned engineering professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D or NPD, with at least 2 years in a management or team leadership role. + Hands-on experience with valve-related R&D or applications is a significant advantage.
