Job Summary:
This busy family is seeking a dedicated, discreet, and professional nanny/housekeeper to support the Principal and his primary-aged son. The child splits time between two households, so an understanding of the need for discretion both inside and outside this home is essential. The role involves school pick-ups and drop-offs, overseeing homework, facilitating the child’s activities, along with other logistics, so strong experience with children of a similar age is essential. Cooking for the family is expected – nothing complex, but someone with a good range and a willingness to adapt recipes would be ideal. With a busy and changing schedule which typically runs from Monday to Saturday, flexibility (including overtime) to enable the smooth running of the household is key to this role. A driver is preferred, although the use of other transport is an option.
In addition to childcare, the role involves a significant housekeeping element. Responsibilities include general cleaning and upkeep of the house to a high standard, managing deliveries, handling laundry (including dry cleaning), property maintenance (including sourcing and managing contractors) and taking initiative in maintaining the home. The successful candidate will be someone who can manage household tasks independently, is proactive, and has the potential to grow with the family in a long-term role. The family is looking for someone with experience in similar households who can really care for the home well, and can balance both the nanny and housekeeping aspects of the role seamlessly, as they’ve previously found candidates to be too focused on one area or the other.

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
