Job Summary:
This family, based in the centre of Monte Carlo with a beautiful four-bedroom home overlooking the beach, is seeking a dedicated and friendly live-in nanny housekeeper. The primary responsibility is caring for their 6-year-old son, acting as a proxy parent and providing a nurturing, structured environment. While the family employs a full-time housekeeper, some light housekeeping will be required to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home. The ideal candidate will be child-friendly, organized, and adaptable, with strong childcare skills and preferably able to swim. An EU passport is essential for this role.
The position is live-in, with a private bedroom provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 6am–9am and 4pm–7pm, and Saturdays from 6am–5pm, totalling 41 hours per week. The role also includes traveling with the family three to four times a year, occasionally on short notice. General Duties:
Provide comprehensive care for the child, including all daily nanny responsibilities. Support and follow the child’s daily routine, ensuring their needs are met consistently. Plan and organize engaging activities and outings to support the children’s developmental milestones and nurture his interests. Has good experience cooking food for children. Arrange and coordinate playdates and playgroups to encourage social development. Help the child reach important developmental milestones and provide appropriate guidance. Create a warm, loving, and nurturing atmosphere for the children to thrive in.
Candidate Requirements:
Proficient in English A nurturing, caring, and friendly demeanour, with a genuine passion for childcare. Proven experience working with children of a similar age, with a solid understanding of supporting various developmental milestones. Reliable, trustworthy, and professional, with a proactive approach to childcare. Childcare qualifications, including current first aid certification. Seeking a long-term, stable position with a welcoming family.
