Responsibilities
Understand and execute on Sunrun’s corporate policies and best practices
Notify and educate customer on post-PTO activation process
Monitor cases of service needs
Review install work orders and detect install deviations that require additional field work
Remotely diagnose PV system issues due to non-operation (commissioning and activation)
Maximizing Field Service professional efficiency by appropriately routing escalations
Optimizing dispatches utilizing your solar and electrical expertise
Provide troubleshooting support to our Field Service Technicians
Remain current with PV technologies
Improving the customer experience by helping to eliminate future unnecessary service visits
Providing feedback on trends you are seeing to our internal quality teams
Meeting performance goals set forth by management
Understanding the Field Operations Manual, manufacturer's specifications and requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred but not required)
Minimum 3 years experience in electrical or solar industries
Excellent, timely customer engagement skills, with strong interpersonal communication
Salesforce, Google Apps, and monitoring platforms fluency (required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solar installation/design experience
NABCEP Associate certification (preferred)
Knowledge of current NEC and local AHJ regulations
Self-sufficient and highly motivated
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to perform normal office duties
Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
Ability to interact and participate in meetings
