215 One Kattameya,CairoRole Overview:The role holder is responsible for managing volume installation projects (large scale) within Otis Egypt, including manpower planning, tools and lifting equipment requisition and monitoring the site progress to ensure timely completion. The role holder is responsible for raising variation orders based on changes to the project specifications by the client. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities:Leads the installation team on independent installation projects (large scale) within Otis, analyzing requirements to identify manpower requirements and tools and lifting equipment required to deliver the project as per budget.
Manages the entire project lifecycle from the starting date of the sub-contract agreement to commissioning and hand over of the assigned project.
Coordinates with the Operations Department to prepare the required layout drawings as per contract specification, and to obtain contractor's/client's approval.
Maintains drawings and designs of the project in consultation with the Sales Department.
Monitors site progress and ensures that project costs, equipment requirements etc. are executed as per plan and within the budgeted cost.
Monitors installation teams to drive compliance with all relevant quality management procedures and controls across various project, to guarantee compliance and quality service delivery.
Liaises with government bodies/external agencies based on project requirements to
comply with the rules of the land.
Liaises with the clients to understand their concerns and guides the installation team to manage potential risks and improve customer satisfaction.
Liaises with the factories and the Supply chain Department to plan and schedule the clearing and logistical transportation of the equipment to the job site.
Liaises with client site engineers to arrange for suitable equipment storage space and guides the installation team on unloading and checking of equipment for adherence to specifications.
Interacts with the clients to identify any changes in the requirements and raises the variation orders as required.
Conducts formal and informal trainings on technical tasks for team members to help develop their skills and enhance operational effectiveness.
Monitors the site progress and ensures that the Finance Department is billing as per the contracted terms to ensure project profitability.
Ensures that the installation teams are strictly following OTIS safe working procedures and WWJSSS requirement etc. to minimize any safety concerns at all stages of the installation process.
Prepares and reports the project status reports by collecting, analysing information and recommending actions.
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent
Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred
Relevant certification such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in managing field operations in vertical transportation industry
Fluent written and spoken English essential
