Neurosurgical Program Manager oversees nurse navigators within the Neurosurgery service line Responsible for program growth and development and streamlining processes to improve patient experience Designs and implements data collection systems and processes The program manager interfaces with inpatient and outpatient care teams and collaborates across a wide variety of patient services to ensure continuity of care and improve patient access and retention Job Responsibilities Serves as a resource for nurse navigators Develops plans and evaluates staff training and orientation Participates in formal and informal evaluation of staff competencyResponsible for developing additional growth and for creating new referral pathways Connects providers and organizes outreach activities Assists with implementation of new programs and with efforts to promote the program to other health care professionals and the publicDevelops and maintains educational material and referral resources Collaborates with providers and marketing to develop informational and educational materials appropriate for the patient population or referring providersEstablishes and interprets standard work and protocols Applies organizations methodology to performance improvement projects Collaborates with the IRB on program specific research initiatives Utilizes results of quality assurance and
