Conducts and interprets diagnostic tests. + Contributes to overall Behavioral Health quality of care by coordinating services and initiating and participating in quality of care improvement measures and procedures. + Discuss school accommodations when indicated, access advocacy resources when needed. + Documents patient care in the medical record according to federal, state, and agency guidelines. + Establishes differential diagnosis, develop appropriate treatment plan and monitor response accordingly. Refer patient and family for psychotherapy as indicated, as well as to other SSM Health and community resources. + Formulate, execute and review healthcare education delivered to patients and families. + Offers supervision of psychometricians, LPC’s and psychologists as needed for delivery of psychological evaluations. + Participates in developing policies and healthcare reforms, improve service quality, and practice evaluation. Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and evaluations. + Performs clinical history and psychological assessment, risk factor assessment, psychiatric diagnostic assessment utilizing assessment tools as indicated. + Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. + Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION + Doctorate in Psychology or related field EXPERIENCE + Two years' experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking. + Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more). + Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. + Frequent keyboard use/data entry. + Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping. + Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. + Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors. + Occasional driving. + Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
