advanced Stroke Care including Endovascular Thrombectomy and the treatment of complex hemorrhagic strokeHighlights of the Neurohospitalist positionAs a Neurohospitalist with experience treating stroke patients Vascular Neurology fellowship preferred you will provide consultations and management for patients in the ED and the Inpatient Units and will see patients in the Stroke follow up clinicInpatient coverage including a share of evening call coverageLimited outpatient coverage in the Stroke follow up clinicStroke clinic is part of a transitional care model with support from a stroke nurse navigator and APPsOpportunity to provide hands on clinical supervision and teaching for our residents students fellows and advance practice providers if desiredComfort with acute stroke care is essential including treatment decisions for thrombolytics and Endovascular ThrombectomyActively participate in neurology didactic sessions attendance at Grand Rounds and other teaching
