Observes the Advent Health Corporate Compliance Plan as well as all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. This role requires a strong foundation in neurodiagnostic technology and the ability to work effectively under supervision and is required to maintain and improve levels of clinical and technical knowledge across all disciplines of the neurodiagnostic field. Participates in the department quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you'll bring to the team:** Competent in at least one additional modality (to include, but not limited to PET, WADA, Surgery) Review, analyze and document neurological data accurately. Ability to observe EEG tracings and respond appropriately to seizure activity. Explain testing procedures to patients and family using age-appropriate guidelines. Perform studies with appropriate documentation, observe patients, troubleshoot equipment and physiological artifacts. Evaluate recorded diagnostic data and report abnormal findings to physician. Recognizes and takes appropriate actions to respond to evolving patient care needs. Teach and train less experienced technologists and students in neurodiagnostic procedures. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and neurodiagnostic standards. Assist in the development of neurodiagnostic protocols and procedures. Maintain and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment as needed. Attend monthly staff meetings and complete monthly competency quizzes. Qualifications **What Will You Need:** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:** + Minimum two years EEG experience or graduation from an EEG school. **PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** : + EEG experience on Nihon Kohden equipment and software + Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications + Seizure monitoring experience **PREFERRED LICENSURE OR REGISTRATION** : + ABRET registration.
