**Responsibilities**
**Job Summary / Purpose**
Perform standard EEGs, evoked potentials or nerve condition studies as directed according to established practice. Provide patient care/services based on identified needs/developmental level for all patient populations checked below; care/services may include assessment of individual patient needs; incorporation of age-specific characteristics in patient education, communication, and planning; provision of individualized care relevant to patient needs; and recognition, monitoring, and provision of interventions as appropriate.
**Essential Key Job Responsibilities**
1. Demonstrates ability to evaluate patients for neurologic and provide diagnostic testing.
2. Demonstrates the ability to check, troubleshoot, adjust/optimize technical settings on equipment.
3. Adequately provides patient instruction and education.
4. Answers telephone, checks voice mail, check messages, relay messages to physicians and other department personnel.
5. Other duties and/or modalities as assigned by management.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education for Staff Job Levels:**
High School diploma or equivalent
**Required Licensure and Certifications:**
BLS-CPR
**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
Understanding of digital technology is required. Must have working knowledge of computers.
**PREFERRED Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
Completion of one year of college biology and psychology preferred. Preferred experience to include (minimally one modality) EEG, evoked potentials, intra-operative monitoring, and nerve conduction potentials.

**Pay Range**
$24.74 - $24.74 /hour
