Performs various EEG neurodiagnostic procedures as requested by physician. Works closely with Supervisor and Manager to coordinate system wide EEG services. Supports New Techs as well as provides continuing education to current techs on a monthly bases.
Education: Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program or Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university required.
Experience: 3-4 years of experience as a Registered EEG Technician required.
Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists, or its equivalent. Registered EEG Technologist.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP & PALS required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Good interpersonal skills. Must be versatile and flexible both in technical skills and work schedule.
