You will evaluate and conduct medically indicated Speech Language pathology treatment programs for patients in our Lake Mary clinic. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Assesses patient ability to safely and effectively perform speech language, cognitive and swallowing skills + Neuro SLP specializes in diagnosing and treating communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders resulting from neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinsons disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders. + Performs evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques. Establishes speech therapy diagnosis, implements and adapts an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency). Discharges patients when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to standards of practice and payer guidelines + Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology, following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department /hospital policy and procedures + Identifies the need for patient/caregiver education and utilizes each opportunity for teaching on a planned or spontaneous basis.
