Link Solutions is seeking a Networking Administrator (Intermediate-Level) to join our team at White Sands Missile Range, NM. + Must be a US Citizen  + Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance + Non-remote (relocation incentive available) The Networking Administrator (Intermediate-Level)will require an understanding of enterprise network architecture, Layer 2/3 switching, routing protocols, and network security standards. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, performance, and security of the network infrastructure. This exciting opportunity lets you contribute to cutting-edge projects while safeguarding our national security.  Job Responsibilities: + Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and security. + Implement and enforce network security procedures and best practices to comply with DoD regulations. + Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related software and hardware systems, including Layer 2/3 switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and encryption devices. + Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. + Work with IP-based networking environments, including IPv4/IPv6 and IPSec VPNs. + Maintain knowledge of and apply standards related to 802.1x, 802.11, MAC bridging, traffic management, and data encryption. + Evaluate, develop, and sustain telecommunications infrastructure and ensure conformance with organizational IT policies and objectives. + Train users on basic network operations and escalate advanced issues to senior personnel when necessary. Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.  + Must be a U.S. Citizen.  + Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance + Must have an AA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or two (2+) years of relevant experience working in an IT enterprise network engineering field. + IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.). + Proven leadership in managing complex network environments, including DoD networks. + Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and media access control systems. + Demonstrated experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design. + In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices. + Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime. Preferred: + Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification. + Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform. + Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls. + Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. + Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures. + Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. + A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems. + Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision. + Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. + Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
