As a Network Engineer, you will:

Lead the design and planning of data center network infrastructure with a focus on security, availability, and performanceOperate, upgrade, and maintain Fortinet’s data center network infrastructureDrive continuous improvement through automation, optimization, and process enhancementsTroubleshoot and resolve complex network and virtualization issues independently and collaborativelyProvide technical leadership by actively sharing knowledge and supporting team membersCreate and maintain documentation for configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and operational processesAssist with hardware procurement, staging, and deployment as requiredParticipate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide after-hours support

We Are Looking For:

3+ years of experience supporting or operating mission critical environmentsSolid knowledge of network administration and industry standards, equivalent to CCNA or higherStrong hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, and VPNsStrong technical and problem-solving skills, including experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python)Experience with network, server, and systems monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus)Basic working knowledge of server virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM)Familiarity with DCIM or source-of-truth tools (e.g., NetBox)Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a teamStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communication skills in both English and Japanese
