Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Network Engineer in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Englewood, CO. Key Responsibilities: * The Network Engineer will support the certification of CPE devices on iCMTS, vCMTS, and RPD infrastructure within Company's network * Builds and maintains automation tools used to support device testing and certification * Plans and implements enterprise network components, including both hardware and software * Designs and documents network architecture in line with business and technical requirements * Conducts performance and capacity assessments on existing technologies * Establishes and configures network security protocols, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems * As a Network Engineer, you will recommend improvements to optimize network infrastructure * Programs and configures routers, switches, and other networking devices * Implements both voice and data communications technologies * Manages network service delivery throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to implementation
