Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco routers and switches and Palo Alto firewalls. After-hours support in the rare case of an emergency and for scheduled maintenance windows is also required. Primary responsibilities would be day to day support of Cisco switches and routers and Palo Alto firewall which includes but is not limited to the following:  · Updating the firewall to block and allow web sites per request.  · Resolving network connectivity issues.  · Scheduling and supporting switch and firewall device updates.  · Review alerts on switches and firewall devices, identifying issues, and taking appropriate actions.  · Active monitoring of traffic logs for security risk indicators.  · Identifying trends, exceptions, and security vulnerabilities and concerns.  · Make configuration changes as needed.  · Training and mentoring other IT staff members.
