Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Network Engineer to join our technical team! In this role you will get to work on cutting-edge projects for the U.S. Cyber Command.

What You'll Be Doing:

Development of innovative solutions, principles and ideas based upon your own requirements gathering with customers.

Designs, implements, and maintains network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access control lists.

Monitors and measures activity and performance of a network.

Collects, interprets, and reports network data and individual customer performance data.

Meet with customers and break down requirements in order to develop time and cost efficient solutions. 

Collaborates effectively with systems engineering, administration and cross-functional teams.

Stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network communications engineering.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Active TS/SCI w/ Poly

Active CCNP (or higher) certification

Minimum 7 years of network design experience, requirements gathering and solutioning

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Experience with GD GEM One, Type-1 crypto implementation

MPLS and pseudowire

Strong experience with Cisco routers, switch, WAN, ISE, Cisco Adaptive Security Manager, and configuration and management of firewalls and access control lists (ACL). 

Knowledge of following protocols and technologies:

EIGRP/OSPF/BGP, VPN/VTI/GRE, VRF/VPC

Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
